Today, at their Meta Connect 2023 event, Meta introduced a range of revolutionary innovations. Among the most notable was the incorporation of artificial intelligence into WhatsApp.
This innovative feature will allow users to interact with virtual representations of celebrities, entirely driven by AI. This development marks a significant step forward, merging the worlds of messaging and artificial intelligence in new and exciting ways.
Artificial intelligence-based characters include names like Kendall Jenner and Snoop Dogg!
During today’s Meta Connect 2023 event, the roofing company Meta presented a slew of innovative advancements to its audience.
A key highlight was the integration of artificial intelligence into WhatsApp, facilitated by the introduction of “Meta AI,” an advanced assistant with capabilities akin to those of DALL-E in generating visuals and ChatGPT in responding to questions. A standout feature is the introduction of AI-centric personas.
This feature includes a collection of 28 unique personalities, featuring notable individuals like Charli D’Amelio, Dwyane Wade, Kendall Jenner, MrBeast, Snoop Dogg, and Paris Hilton. Users can interact with these AI personas through text, each embodying distinct characteristics and styles. For example, users could receive sports insights from the athlete persona or culinary recipes from the chef persona.
Furthermore, WhatsApp will introduce another innovation: stickers generated by artificial intelligence. This means you’ll be able to create your own custom stickers simply by typing. This feature will also be made available on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
