Mona Lisa Redrawn by Artificial Intelligence
The Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, from the Renaissance period, has been recreated by artificial intelligence.
In the AI-drawn image, notable features include wide eyes, slight makeup, and a pronounced chest décolleté, which have garnered attention.
This rendition quickly became popular on social media, eliciting mixed reactions from the public.
The artist behind the painting, Gianpaolo Rosa, responded to the controversy surrounding his work, which he claims was created to “honor Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece.” He expressed that the sexualization of women is “sad” and “problematic.” However, he hopes this painting will initiate a conversation regarding “our perceptions of art and women.”
