Gucci Launches Own Metaverse Experience
Gucci, the renowned fashion house, has unveiled its own Metaverse experience, Vault, in The Sandbox. Notably, the Gucci Vault, described as a “play-to-win” Metaverse, will be accessible until November 9.
Earlier this year, in February, Gucci acquired virtual land on the Metaverse platform The Sandbox and has now launched its distinct Metaverse experience, Vault, within it. The Gucci Vault will offer participants the chance to earn rewards by engaging in events and completing games in their Metaverse universe.
In terms of developments, Gucci has distinguished itself as the first luxury brand to create its own Metaverse space on The Sandbox. Visitors to Vault will have the opportunity to explore Gucci’s history and can earn SAND tokens, the native cryptocurrency of The Sandbox.
Moreover, the company recently appointed Robert Triefus to oversee the Gucci Vault division. Additionally, Gucci announced earlier this year, in May, that it has begun accepting payments in cryptocurrencies.
Visitors will also have access to the Gucci Vault Aura collection for their avatars
Additionally, the Gucci Vault will be open to all users. To earn rewards and tokens, participants will need to engage in and complete various events and games within the Vault universe.
For those who possess Gucci Vault NFTs in their cryptocurrency wallets, there will be exclusive access to the Gucci Vault Aura collection. This collection allows users to outfit their avatars in The Sandbox with Gucci designs, adding an element of luxury and exclusivity to the Metaverse experience.
