Hyundai Motor is set to make history as the inaugural automaker to venture into the community-based NFT market. This includes the establishment of a website, as well as dedicated channels on Discord and Twitter. Hyundai’s partnership is with the metaverse coin Meta Kongz (MKC). Here are the details:
NFT move from Hyundai
Today, Hyundai Motor unveiled a short film promoting the NFT universe “Metamobility Universe,” aligning with the “Metamobility” concept revealed at CES 2022. To commemorate the film’s release and showcase its collaboration with NFT brand “Meta Kongz,” Hyundai Motor will create 30 limited NFTs. Profits generated from the sale of Hyundai NFTs will be allocated for project management and community initiatives. As the first automaker to enter the NFT market, Hyundai has established its own NFT community, complete with the Hyundai NFT official website and channels on Discord and Twitter.
The Hyundai NFT community aims to offer users a unique Hyundai brand experience in the metaverse by sharing NFTs that depict various mobility solutions. The Hyundai NFT Discord and Twitter channels were inaugurated on April 15, with the official NFT website scheduled for launch in May.
Through dedicated communication channels, Hyundai plans to consistently manage the asset value of its NFTs, providing community members with real-time updates on their NFTs’ value. This online platform ensures a 24/7 open channel for communication between the company and its community members.
Metaverse coin project is on the rise
The recently released short film highlights the gorilla character “Meta Kongz.” Towards the conclusion of the film, a shooting star-shaped NFT is teased, set to be unveiled in May. To mark the film’s release, Hyundai Motor will launch 30 limited edition “Hyundai x Meta Kongz” NFTs on April 20. The Hyundai NFT projects are slated to persist throughout the year, contributing to the ongoing expansion of the Hyundai NFT universe.
Profits generated from the sale of Hyundai NFTs will be directed towards project management and supporting community initiatives. Following this development involving Hyundai, Meta Kongz (MKC) witnessed a 5 percent increase in value. The cryptocurrency surged from $3.12 to $3.40 and is currently trading at $3.29 at the time of writing.
