Meta Discloses How Much It Earned in Q3 2025

Meta, the owner of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, generated $51.24 billion in revenue in Q3 2025. However, a $15.9 billion income tax reduced the net profit.

Meta surpassed analyst expectations with $51.24 billion in revenue in Q3 2025. The majority of the company’s revenue came from advertising revenue generated by its Instagram and Facebook platforms.

However, during the same period, Meta faced a tax burden of approximately $15.9 billion. This significantly impacted the company’s net income, causing the profit to drop to $2.71 billion. In contrast, this figure was $11.58 billion in the same period last year.

The largest portion of the company’s expenses consisted of infrastructure investments made for artificial intelligence systems. Meta states that these investments will improve product quality in the long term.

Meta expects revenue to be between $56 billion and $59 billion for the last quarter of 2025. The company’s focus remains on continuing to grow in AI-powered content recommendations and video advertising.
