The Claude 3.5 Sonnet AI model has been officially introduced. It is claimed to surpass ChatGPT-4o and Google Gemini 1.5 Pro.

Anthropic, one of the biggest players in the artificial intelligence race, unveiled the first artificial intelligence of the new generation, the Claude 3.5 model. Called Claude 3.5 Sonnet, the chatbot delivers better results than models like GPT-4o and Gemini 1.5 Pro.

How good is Claude 3.5 Sonnet?

Anthropic stated that the Claude 3.5 Sonnet performs many functions, from coding to visual rendering. It stands out as the company’s best AI model when it comes to finding code defects, understanding user input, and performing mathematical tasks.

Anthropic has published some benchmark results, claiming that the Claude 3.5 Sonnet outperforms its competitors. Although third-party research has not yet confirmed this, the model is said to surpass ChatGPT and Gemini in writing code, performing mathematical calculations, and creating visuals.

According to the company’s announcement, the model has also improved its skills in areas such as visual reasoning, graphic interpretation, and copying text from images. In this context, it is argued to be better than Anthropic’s most powerful model, the Claude 3 Opus.

Anthropic has announced that it will make the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model available for free for a certain number of searches. However, it should be noted that there are subscriptions such as Claude Pro and Team for those who want to use the model unlimitedly.
