In India, the company called Wipro has announced that it will spend $1 billion to train its 250,000 employees in AI and integrate AI into its product offerings.

Wipro, a multinational corporation that offers information technology, consulting, and business process services, has committed to a significant investment in artificial intelligence education and applications.
A whopping $1 billion investment Wipro, headquartered in India, plans to allocate $1 billion towards educating its 250,000-strong workforce in AI, as well as incorporating AI technologies into its product suite.
In addition to this, Wipro disclosed its intention to boost investments in high-tech start-ups, including those that focus on the development of artificial intelligence.
As part of this billion-dollar investment, the company aims to consolidate 30,000 employees from their cloud, data analysis, consulting, and engineering departments over the next three years.
Meanwhile, Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest IT firm, has announced its own commitment to AI, revealing plans to offer artificial intelligence training to 25,000 of its engineers.
