- Coin Price represents the current, overall volume-weighted average price of a crypto asset traded on active crypto asset exchange pages tracked by Metaverseplanet.net.
- Market Cap is one of the metrics used to gauge the relative size of a crypto asset. It is calculated by multiplying the Coin Price by the Circulating Supply.
- Volume represents the total trading volume of a crypto asset across all active exchanges tracked by Metaverseplanet.net.
- Trust Score measures liquidity for trading pairs and crypto exchanges. It is further extended to assess general liquidity, operational scale, and API coverage.

10.How Does Metaverseplanet.net Collect All These Charts/Data?
This is a collaborative effort! Since 2014, the Metaverseplanet.net team has worked hard to gather data for many crypto assets from various sources. From this collected raw data, Metaverseplanet.net stores it in time series to help provide a better overview of a project’s growth, visualized through charts. We hope this will give you a 360-degree view of your favorite projects!
11.Why Is Market Capitalization a Dash (-) For Certain Projects?
An accurate Market Cap calculation requires data on the circulating supply of a crypto asset, and Metaverseplanet.net collaborates closely with project teams or coin developers to gather this information. If a dash appears, it means we either lack sufficient information on the circulating supply or have reasons to doubt its accuracy. This metric is a continuous work in progress for us.
12.How Is Circulating Supply Calculated on Metaverseplanet.net?
To calculate circulating supply, we fetch data directly from API endpoints provided by the respective project teams. You can check the API we use by clicking the button next to “Circulating Supply.” Here are a few examples:
For coins that are locked in foundations, companies, or with vested/founder reserves, we exclude them from the available supply calculation.
13.How Frequently Is All This Information Updated?
Our bots update our data according to a variable schedule, with updates limited by the rate limits set by data providers. Updates are as follows:
i) Price, trading volume, market cap – every 1 to 10 minutes
ii) Circulating supply – every 5 minutes
iii) Developer, Social Networks, and Alexa data – once daily
iv) Blockchain information (mining difficulty, total blocks, transactions per second, etc.) – every 1 hour
14.What Is Trust Score on Metaverseplanet.net?
To combat fake volumes, Trust Score was introduced in May 2019 to measure liquidity across trading pairs and more. Trust Score 2.0 was launched in September 2019 to refine the algorithm and include evaluations of crypto exchanges.
For trading pairs, Trust Score indicates how liquid a trading pair is, meaning the likelihood you could buy/sell an asset at the listed price. We display Trust Scores in Green/Yellow/Red colors to allow easy identification of trading pairs at a glance.
In spot crypto exchanges, Trust Score is calculated separately based on (i) Liquidity, (ii) Operational Scale, and (iii) API Coverage and is shown as a rating from 1 to 10 on our exchanges page. You can find more about Trust Score on our Methodology page or Metaverseplanet.net Blog.
