Free ChatGPT Users Can Now Create Images What You Need to Know

“According to a statement made by OpenAI, the leading company in artificial intelligence, free ChatGPT users will now be able to create images in the chatbot, albeit with limitations.

OpenAI, a leading company in artificial intelligence technologies, continues to support its free users. In a statement, the company announced that users of the free version of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot will now be able to create images using the DALL-E 3 model.”

Only 2 images per day

“Although OpenAI has introduced image generation support to free ChatGPT users, DALL-E 3 only allows the creation of two images per day. DALL-E 3 is the company’s latest text-to-image model, which was released last September. Initially, it was made available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers, the paid versions of ChatGPT.

While DALL-E 3 may not produce visuals with the same high quality as Midjourney, it excels in consistency and text generation within images. The integration with ChatGPT offers a significant advantage. When you ask ChatGPT for help with an image, the tool generates a detailed prompt, making the image creation process more efficient. Even if you don’t provide your own prompt, the tool will create one automatically to generate the image.

In my experiment, I first used the prompt ‘A bird flying over Turkey.’ The image above was generated using this prompt. Then, I asked ChatGPT to create a more detailed prompt based on my request, and it generated a lengthy prompt in English, with the result shown below.

OpenAI’s support for the free tier is appreciated but somewhat limited. If you want to create images with DALL-E 3 for free, you can use Microsoft’s Copilot or Designer. However, to access this feature within ChatGPT, you’ll need to subscribe to the Plus plan, which costs $20 per month.”
