Women Are More Active Than Men In Web3
KuCoin, one of the global cryptocurrency exchanges, has released its “Journey Into Web3” report, which explores professional involvement in the decentralized internet industry. According to the report’s conclusion, women are taking a more active role in the development of Web 3.0.
KuCoin’s report reveals that women have a lower propensity to invest in Web 3 than men, but on the other hand, it is concluded that women are more active in the industry. According to the research, 49 percent of female professionals work part-time or freelancers in Web3-related industries, and 33 percent work full-time.
On the other hand, 27 percent of female professionals surveyed state that they are involved in the establishment phase of Web 3 related projects or businesses.
However, this is not enough to exceed the 41 percent entrepreneurship rate for men. Also, 33 percent of female professionals work as engineers or developers in the same industry as their male counterparts.

Only 22 percent of female Web 3 enthusiasts express an interest in the same function. Highlighting the potential of female professionals to accelerate decentralized industry adoption, 59 percent of Web 3 professionals surveyed are under the age of 30, while only 24 percent work full-time in the industry. The vast majority of the rest are positioned as part-time, freelancers or entrepreneurs.
According to the report, the majority of professionals believe that Web 3, beyond the adoption of the crypto system, will pave the way for a decentralized world and determine the future of the internet.
In addition, more than 60 percent of Web3 professionals say they work in areas such as NFT, cryptocurrencies, and the metaverse. Among Web 3 enthusiasts, the NFT world stands out as a more popular option for a potential career choice.
