How to Use Sora for Free: Meet Bing Video Creator (Step-by-Step Guide)

Microsoft has officially introduced a new tool called Bing Video Creator, which allows users to access OpenAI’s video generation model Sora for free. This exciting new feature brings the power of AI-generated video creation to everyone—without a subscription.
AI video generators are becoming increasingly popular, enabling users to create realistic short videos using only text prompts. One of the leading models in this field is OpenAI’s Sora, which until now was only available through ChatGPT’s paid plans. That has now changed with Microsoft’s latest announcement.
As part of a major update to its Bing AI tools, Microsoft launched the Bing Video Creator, giving users the ability to generate short videos from text completely free of charge. Currently, the tool is available only through the Bing mobile app, with a desktop version expected soon.
The Bing Video Creator is powered directly by OpenAI’s Sora, offering users the chance to test Sora for free. Just type in any idea as a detailed text prompt, and the tool will turn it into a short video. The generated videos are currently 5 seconds long and in 9:16 format, with 16:9 support coming soon.
You can generate up to 3 videos at once, and after creation, you’re free to download and share them. However, keep in mind that Bing will only store your videos for 90 days, so make sure to save or share them before then.
