Copilot AI assistant integrated into Microsoft Launcher app

Simply put, Microsoft Copilot is an artificial intelligence assistant designed to make your daily tasks easier. The great news is that you can now use this smart assistant with Microsoft Launcher. So, just as Apple users have Siri, Android users now have Copilot.

Microsoft Launcher is an app that you can download from Google Play, which changes your phone’s home screen design. To get started, you’ll need to join the Microsoft Launcher beta program. Once you join the beta program, you can start chatting with the search widget (home screen search bar) using the Copilot button.

You can also access Copilot in the Feed section on the left side of the main screen. Integrated into the Microsoft Launcher app, Copilot offers almost limitless possibilities. For example, Copilot will be accessible with just a swipe. You can ask questions and get help with content creation.

You can ask Copilot questions like, “What’s the weather like today?” or “What do you recommend for dinner?” With simple commands from your mobile feed, you can generate images and text. For example, it can assist you when you say, “Make a birthday card.” Copilot Pro users enjoy faster and more responsive interactions, allowing you to get things done quickly.

Since Copilot is currently in the testing phase within the Microsoft Launcher application, it has some limitations. For instance, it can’t execute commands like “Set an alarm” or “Turn off Wi-Fi.” Currently, Copilot has three main add-ons: Search, Instacart, and Kayak. These plugins enable you to quickly search for information online, discover recipes and meal plans, and find flights, accommodations, and car rental options.

If Copilot becomes popular on Android, more companies are expected to offer support for these add-ons, making Copilot even more capable. If you want to try out the new Microsoft Launcher app with Copilot integration, you can download it from the Google Play Store.

However, you will need to sign up for the beta program. The version you first download may be outdated, so be sure to check for updates. If there is no new update immediately, one should be available soon. Don’t forget to share your first experiences and thoughts with us.
