Apple’s AI Challenge: AppleGPT vs. ChatGPT

Apple has announced its venture into developing artificial intelligence products that aim to rival ChatGPT, marking a significant global impact.

Currently in the testing phase, this chatbot, informally known as “AppleGPT,” signifies Apple’s active engagement in the AI domain, challenging the prior perception of its detachment from this area of innovation.

Following the revelation of Apple’s focus on artificial intelligence, akin to the advancements seen in OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard, Bloomberg reports a 2 percent increase in Apple’s shares, reaching an all-time high.

This surge reflects the market’s positive response to Apple’s strategic move into AI technologies.

Utilizing its in-house “Ajax” framework, Apple is constructing large language models, showcasing its commitment to pioneering in the artificial intelligence landscape.

While “AppleGPT” undergoes rigorous testing, it’s noteworthy that Apple has seamlessly integrated advanced AI technology into existing products, including Siri, Apple Photos, and its messaging platform, for some time, underlining the company’s ongoing dedication to innovation in AI.
