The technology powerhouse Apple has been revealed to be working on artificial intelligence products, contradicting the previous notion that it was ‘detached’ from this field.
As reported by Bloomberg, Apple’s shares rose by 2 percent to a record high following news of the company’s work on artificial intelligence technologies like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard.
According to the report, Apple utilizes its proprietary “Ajax” framework to build large language models.
The chatbot, colloquially referred to by some engineers as “AppleGPT”, is said to be in the testing phase.
Apple has discreetly incorporated advanced artificial intelligence technology into products such as Siri, Apple Photos, and messaging for some time.
