Yahoo to Organize Metaverse Events for Hong Kong Residents

Yesterday, Yahoo unveiled its plan to organize virtual concerts and exhibitions, showcasing celebrities and influencers exclusively for residents of Hong Kong within the virtual world of Decentraland.

In addition to these virtual events, Yahoo is set to debut an NFT exhibit titled “The Abyss of Kwun Tong,” aiming to recreate the historical neighborhood of Kwun Tong.

This innovative concept of replicating real-life locations and experiences in the Metaverse has the potential to captivate the interest of Hong Kong residents, offering them a virtual environment that includes public spaces such as bars and clubs. This initiative was officially launched on Thursday, as reported by the South China Morning Post.
