UAE Ministry of Economy’s New Metaverse Move

The Ministry of Economy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made a significant announcement regarding its presence in the metaverse.

During the Dubai Metaverse Assembly, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy, revealed the opening of a new headquarters in the metaverse.

This virtual headquarters is not merely a concept prototype but represents the Ministry’s third official address.

The metaverse headquarters will be a multi-story structure, with each floor serving various purposes. Visitors will have the option to purchase a ticket that allows them to interact with a “customer happiness center employee” within the metaverse.

One notable feature of the virtual center is the ability for visitors to sign legally binding documents, eliminating the need for physical signatures at physical locations.

Additionally, the building will have facilities to host events and meetings, including an auditorium and meeting rooms.

This move is in line with Dubai’s broader goals, which include creating 40,000 virtual jobs by 2030 and increasing the number of government blockchain companies by 400%.

The UAE’s engagement with the metaverse represents a significant step in embracing digital innovation and enhancing its virtual presence.
