Toyota Will Take Your Children Home with Autonomous Vehicles

The mini autonomous capsule vehicle concept, developed under the name Toyota Kids Mobi, is designed to pick up your child from school and take them home in the safest possible way.

Toyota, which recently garnered great acclaim with the smart wheelchair concept it introduced, has this time developed an autonomous vehicle for children. Toyota Kids Mobi will safely bring your child home.

The Kids Mobi, also developed as a concept, is a single-seater children’s vehicle. The capsule-like vehicle features animated LED eyes and ear-shaped sensors. The cockpit is suitable only for children up to 130 cm in length. This means it targets pre-school and early primary school children.

The interface, developed to accompany children, provides assistance with the help of artificial intelligence, while parents can track their child instantly throughout the journey. Toyota Kids Mobi is designed for school-to-home transportation over short distances. Toyota stated that it will take this technology even further and plans to launch it in the near future.
