TikTok is introducing a new feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to clone the user’s voice. This will enable users to replace their own voice with a computer-generated version in videos. This innovation aims to streamline content creation and enhance user interaction on the platform.

Although TikTok has not officially announced the voice cloning feature, references on its website such as “Create your voice with artificial intelligence” and “TikTok sound library” suggest that the platform is set to introduce this capability.
Users will be able to use a computer-generated copy of their voice in their TikTok videos. The process reportedly creates an AI version of the audio in just 10 seconds. Users will need to record their voices by reading some text provided by the app.
TikTok has stated that it will keep the AI-generated audio private and users can delete it from the audio library at any time.
