The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency (SHIB) is making its foray into the metaverse with a dedicated project, as announced on its official Twitter account.
Named “Shiberse,” this metaverse initiative aims to offer an engaging experience tailored to the Shiba Inu community.
Accompanying the announcement was an illustration of a Shiba Inu dog situated in a forest, uniquely holding a hammer in its mouth.
Currently, there are no specific details available about the Shiba Inu metaverse project. The developers have indicated that further information will be released soon.
ShibaSwap developer Eric M has described “Shiberse” as a hub where tokens, a decentralized exchange, and games will converge within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
However, it’s important to note that the project’s name is not yet final, and users are cautioned to remain vigilant against potential scams.
Additionally, the Shiba Inu team had previously announced a gaming venture last November. This project is notably collaborating with William David Volk, the former Vice President of Technology at Activision, a company renowned for developing popular video games including Call of Duty and Diablo.
