Samsung Unveils House of Sam Metaverse Experience

Samsung Latam, the regional division of the electronics giant, has established its own space in Decentraland, a Metaverse platform built on the Ethereum blockchain.

This area, named the House of Sam, will enable users to virtually interact with various products from the Samsung brand. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to earn Samsung-branded rewards for their avatars by participating in mini-games.


House of Sam, Decentraland Metaverse’te!

Samsung Latam, the Latin American division of the electronics company, is exploring new ways to enhance its brand visibility in the digital realm. Following extensive research, the company decided to establish an online presence. To this end, it has created a space known as the House of Sam in Decentraland, one of the largest Ethereum-based Metaverse platforms.

The primary goal of this initiative is to connect the brand with the next generation of consumers who are increasingly using the Metaverse. The House of Sam is now accessible to users and was recently inaugurated with a virtual show in Brazil.

Arthur Wong, the marketing director of Samsung Latam, commented on the development, stating: “Our customers will have the opportunity to attend exclusive shows we will host for free in Decentraland, which is among the most democratic and open spaces in the Metaverse.

Additionally, they will be able to interact through various courses and events. Our objective is to engage more closely than ever with Generation Z, our young consumers who do not distinguish between the physical and virtual worlds.”

The House of Sam, Samsung’s virtual space in Decentraland, has been launched featuring a series of mini-games themed around the brand.

Additionally, it offers users exclusive wearable rewards for their avatars in Decentraland. This space also showcases some of Samsung’s most iconic products in a virtual format.

This venture is among several initiatives Samsung has undertaken in the Metaverse. Beyond this, the company is actively engaged in the NFT market and the Bitcoin mining sector.

In July, Samsung introduced another Metaverse experience called Space Tycoon, which is part of Roblox. Furthermore, in January, Samsung inaugurated its own store in Decentraland, reinforcing its commitment to exploring and expanding its presence in the virtual world.

Recently, many large corporations have been dedicating a portion of their efforts to creating worlds within the Metaverse as a strategic initiative.

In line with this trend, Samsung has announced new projects in collaboration with Roblox. One such project is Space Tycoon, an experience where users can engage as part of a space station. This station allocates resources for designing and manufacturing Samsung products.

In this virtual world, players will also have the opportunity to purchase items for their avatars from a store. Targeted at a younger audience, this experience aims to educate and familiarize them with the Samsung brand.

Samsung is ramping up its efforts in Web3, conducting extensive research across various departments to deepen its engagement in this emerging field.
