It appears that OpenAI “accidentally” published an article about GPT-4.5 Turbo on its official website. Although the article was quickly removed, its brief presence did not go unnoticed. According to the content, the new language model, GPT-4.5 Turbo, is touted to be more advanced than its predecessor, GPT-4, particularly in terms of speed, accuracy, and scalability.
One of the most noteworthy aspects mentioned in the article is that GPT-4.5 Turbo will possess knowledge up to June 2024. This implies it can provide information on events up to July 31. It’s important to highlight that GPT-4’s knowledge was capped in April 2023.
OpenAI has yet to comment on this development. The timing of this leak, coinciding with the anniversary of GPT-4’s launch, suggests it may not have been coincidental. As a result, there’s anticipation for an official statement from the company.
