Discovering Mark Zuckerberg’s Secret Metaverse Glasses

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s highly secretive Metaverse VR glasses were reportedly left behind in a hotel room, leading to their unexpected revelation.

The long-speculated Metaverse glasses, developed by Facebook’s parent company Meta, were unexpectedly discovered after being forgotten in a hotel room.

As reported by the Daily Star, a video shared on Facebook by Ramiro Cardenas showcases the Meta Quest Pro virtual reality glasses, which he claims were left in the room.

The headset and glasses feature three external cameras and futuristic-looking controllers, all integral to how users will interact with virtual data in the future.

THE FORGOTTEN PERSON WANTS A REFUND

The video revealed a box with the label “Meta Quest Pro” on the upper left corner, along with a sticker stating “non-resale-engineered specimen.” This suggests that the item was inadvertently left behind by someone associated with Meta.

As reported by The Verge, the individual who was staying in the room later reclaimed the glasses. This leak of the glasses’ specifications occurred a month before Meta’s scheduled Connect event.

This timing aligns with when Mark Zuckerberg is expected to announce a new VR headset designed for use in the Metaverse. To date, Meta has invested approximately 182 billion Turkish Lira (around $10 billion) in Metaverse-related projects.
