Lightricks, known for Faceapp and Videolap, has unveiled LTX Studio, a new filmmaking tool that empowers users to craft their own stories.
This announcement comes as generative artificial intelligence continues to reveal its vast potential across various domains.
Following OpenAI’s introduction of Sora, which generates short videos based on user commands, LTX Studio by Lightricks advances this concept, offering individuals the opportunity to create their own movies with the aid of artificial intelligence.
LTX Studio is accessible as a web tool on their website, where interested users can sign up to join the waiting list.
Lightricks has announced that the tool will be made available to the general public next month. The operational approach of this AI tool is uniquely tailored towards filmmaking and cinematography, setting it apart in its focus and application.
It will be possible to make movies with artificial intelligence
Content creators begin by inputting their ideas into this artificial intelligence tool. Subsequently, the AI crafts a script and outlines a story flow for them, incorporating characters into the script and positioning them within various scenes. The storyboard is capable of presenting these scenes from multiple perspectives.
Moreover, the tool adapts the visuals to align with the selected style, such as anime or cinematic-style frames. Characters feature in their own dedicated tabs, allowing for extensive customization.
Typically, each shot lasts for a few seconds, with options available to personalize these shots. Customizable aspects include movements, camera angles, special effects, and character dialogues.
The shot editor enables users to rename scenes, introduce camera movements, modify the shot duration, or incorporate sound. The resulting images are then compiled to create a preview movie, which can be shared to gather feedback. Lightricks expresses hope that this product will prove beneficial for professionals.
