Science Fiction Movies Become Reality: Here is a Home Robot Even Cheaper Than an iPhone!

A turning point is occurring in the technology world. The Noetix company, aiming to close the era of humanoid robots produced by companies like Boston Dynamics with costs in the thousands of dollars, has entered the market with a groundbreaking product. Introduced with a price tag of only $1,370, Bumi aims to transform humanoid robot technology from a luxury dream into a reality accessible to every home. Humanoid robots from brands like Tesla typically start from $6,000 to $7,000.
Bumi’s most striking feature is undoubtedly its price. Alongside the robots from giants like Unitree, Figure, and Tesla, which start from $6,000 to $7,000, Bumi’s $1,370 price makes it the most accessible model on the market. In fact, this pricing is even more affordable than the starting price of Apple’s newest flagship phone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Noetix aims to completely change the perception of the humanoid robot with this strategy.
Despite its affordable price, Bumi has noteworthy features.

Bumi is 94 centimeters tall and weighs 12 kilograms, featuring a quite compact design. It can walk, dance, and perform simple in-home tasks with voice commands. Offering a working time of nearly two hours with its 48V battery, the robot is designed for in-home support, as an educational tool, or a personal assistant.
Noetix will exhibit Bumi, which aims to be a pioneer in the consumer-focused humanoid robot market, at technology festivals in China in November. With this step, the company plans to open up to the global market and make robots an inseparable part of daily life in the future.
