A “metaverse branch” of a bank opens for the first time in Turkey

Emre Kutlu, Sales and Marketing Director of the GoArt Metaverse Platform, developed by the software company Roof Stacks, stated, “We aim to establish a financial center in the metaverse universe, allowing people to meet their needs from here.”

Emre Kutlu, Sales and Marketing Director of the GoArt Metaverse Platform, created by the software company Roof Stacks, shared with Anadolu Agency (AA) that a significant portion of the audience following metaverse platforms consists of “Generation Z youth” who want to manage their own data independently from the centralized world and earn financial benefits while using these platforms.

Highlighting that they continue to work on the GoArt Metaverse Platform in line with the needs of the audience, Kutlu stated that they currently offer opportunities such as fashion shows, shopping, events, and congresses.

Emphasizing that concerts were held in the metaverse and major brands opened branches, Kutlu said:

“We aim to provide some financial services from here. We have started to work on projects with some leading banks in Turkey. We have created the metaverse components of banks. Soon, we will unveil scenarios where users can receive essential services from ‘avatar bank officers’. We are opening a new branch. The four banks we are in talks with are currently in the process of designing. We plan to establish a financial center in the Metaverse universe so that people can address their needs from here.”

“Time Travel Is Possible” Kutlu stated that, thanks to the studies conducted on the GoArt Metaverse Platform regarding several historical places in Turkey, they have made it possible for people to “travel in time.” Kutlu said, “While taking these trips, we have allowed them to generate profits by collecting NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and crypto assets here. This is one of the aspects that attracts people.”
