A recent study has unveiled the countries that show interest in the Metaverse. Despite being in its infancy, with its technologies and rules yet to be fully established, there is a consensus that the Metaverse will shape the future digital economy.
The creation of a digital world through the expansive capabilities and broad application areas of technologies like virtual reality and augmented reality, enabling our existence and activities within this world – such as education, commerce, gaming, and information exchange – in a virtual environment without the constraints of borders and distances, captures everyone’s attention.
Exploring the level of interest in emerging technologies, Walkme.com, in collaboration with SEMrush, a robust statistical tool, conducted research to identify which European countries are keen on the Metaverse.
Detailed findings from the research are available at https://www.walkme.com/glossary/digital-transformation/ where the countries’ rankings in terms of interest in the Metaverse were listed.
