The CAC specified that these new rules would apply to content generated by artificial intelligence, including public photos, audio, and video.

Under these regulations, it is mandated that artificial intelligence-based technologies must comply with established guidelines regarding data usage, copyright, and the protection of personal data. These new regulations in China, effective from August 15, will replace the rules set forth in April.
