Launching Islamic Metaverse in Malaysia | Netverse by IBF Net
According to Zawya, the IBF Net finance group has introduced the first Islamic Metaverse, named NetVerse, which is anticipated to significantly contribute to the digitalization movement in the Islamic world.
NetVerse stands out in various aspects, as stated by officials from IBF Net. Beyond offering entertainment and social networking, NetVerse aims to address moral and social issues through the Netversity project, which will provide a wide array of educational courses.
Founded in 1999, the IBF Net group initially served as the premier online community for the exchange of knowledge in Islamic economics.
Over the years, it has expanded its reach and now operates within the blockchain arena.
With the digital economy currently accounting for an estimated 20-25% of the global economy, its share is expected to continue growing steadily.
The virtual economy, in turn, is anticipated to expand within and alongside the digital economy.
