Hafize Cevizbaş, an 80-year-old resident of the Yatağan district in Muğla, Turkey, has become a social media sensation with her priceless reactions to trying on a virtual reality (VR) headset for the very first time.
Living in the Mesken neighborhood of Yatağan, Hafize Cevizbaş donned the VR headset with the help of her grandchild. As she experienced the virtual world, her spontaneous exclamations in the distinct Aegean dialect (“My God, what kind of world is this?!” – “Oh dear, what kind of world is this?”, and “Ayol ben nereye geldim şimdi?” – “Goodness, where have I come to now?”) had viewers roaring with laughter.
