Snoop buys virtual land for $450,000 to become Dogg’s neighbour at Metaverse
A man who wanted to be a neighbour of Snoop Dogg’s NFT mansion in Metaverse bought virtual land for $450,000 (£6.2m).
The rapper collaborated with Sandbox to create an interactive universe called the ‘Snoopverse’.
The inhabitants of the universe, called Snoopites or Snoopers, can create their own avatars and dress them up as they wish, live in houses they make themselves and drive luxury cars.
On the Ethereum-based platform, users can mole their virtual experiences while playing games.
The unnamed man, who is Snoop Dogg’s virtual neighbor, will have access to private parties at the home, a digital replica of the rapper’s California mansion.
