Tienda Orange, the full name of the firm, has announced its plans to offer a variety of exciting services in the Metaverse. Users will have the opportunity to purchase movies, encompassing both feature films and short films. Additionally, an adventure experience titled ‘moon voyage’ will be made available for interested visitors. Access to the Metaverse is facilitated through the use of computers. Orange Spain’s Metaverse experience promises an adventure with a high-speed connection, enhancing virtual shopping capabilities.

The Metaverse will feature three distinct areas for visitors: La Zona Comercial (commercial areas), La Zona de Ocio (entertainment areas), and La Zona (an amphitheater for events). Each area in the Metaverse is designed for specific functions.

Orange Spain acknowledges the need to establish some infrastructure to manage data-sensitive applications within the Metaverse. Meanwhile, the company has also announced that Meta Quest will now offer immersive virtual experiences compatible with iOS and Android devices. Users will be able to explore over 100 immersive contents using virtual reality glasses or mobile phones.

Orange Spain aims to use a virtual ecosystem to enhance the customer experience, spurred by the expanding Metaverse ecosystem. Moreover, Orange Group, the parent company of Orange Spain, has expressed its global strategy to delve into the Metaverse across its divisions.

The firm has collaborated with Meta to incorporate Meta Quest 2 into its virtual reality tools, with Meta being a leading producer of digital reality hardware and software for Metaverse-ready enterprises. Orange customers in the Metaverse will also have access to the system using other smartphone brands like Honor, Samsung, and Xiaomi. The 3D visualization will include online stores where customers can view demos and promotions.

Customers in the Metaverse will have an experience that mirrors real-world services. Moreover, those shopping in the new Metaverse store by Orange will benefit from discounts on items that are paid for and purchased in their physical stores.

These discounts will be facilitated through notifications triggered post-purchase. Orange is making significant investments in scaling its customer service operations to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
