OKX and Rúben Dias join hands for metaverse
Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has collaborated with Manchester City star Ruben Dias for the metaverse. The partnership will allow fans to connect with Dias.
Cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 technology developer OKX has announced to users of the first immersive metaverse fan experience that is part of “OKX Collective”.
As of April 3, the company announced a collaboration with one of its brand ambassadors and Manchester City football player Rúben Dias called “Train Like Dias”.
According to the announcement, fans will be able to virtually experience Dias’ favorite training techniques. In addition, fans will have access to Dias’ coaching and tips. However, according to the statements made, this experience will only be available to users in the OKX Collective metaverse.

Haider Rafique, OKX’s global marketing manager, said the new immersive experience helps connect fans. Rafique also underlined and added that this is another great example of what this technology enables.
“The possibilities of Web3 are vast and limited only by our own imagination.”
As it is known, OKX and Manchester City officially became partners in July 2022. The platform pointed out that other players in the team, including Alex Greenwood, İlkay Gündoğan and Jack Grealish, will offer Web3 content in the future.
