The Predator franchise, which was revived with the release of Prey, will return to cinemas this year with a new film. The highly anticipated new movie in the series, Predator: Badlands, will be released on November 7. With the premiere date fast approaching, 20th Century Studios released one last trailer for Badlands today as they continue their promotional efforts.
Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also directed Prey. Trachtenberg, who brought a different touch to the series with Prey, is starting from an intriguing concept in Badlands as well. The Predator, which we normally see as the hunter, becomes the prey this time.
The film follows Dek, a young Predator who has been outcast by his own civilization and is attempting to survive with limited means on a deadly planet. He finds an unlikely ally in a synthetic android played by Elle Fanning.
