Future Sports We Don’t Even Know About Yet

When we think of sports, disciplines like football, basketball, and volleyball come to mind. However, artificial intelligence has some intriguing predictions for new sports that could emerge in the future. Let’s dive into what it suggested.

Droneball

The first sport AI suggested is ‘Droneball’. In this sport, two teams will use specially designed autonomous or remote-controlled drones to move a ball towards a designated target in the air. Each drone will have distinct features, such as pass interception and acceleration capabilities.

Zero-G Combat

This sport, with its incredibly cool name, involves astronauts or specially trained athletes engaging in combat under low-gravity conditions.

Augmented Reality Obstacle Course

Athletes will wear augmented reality glasses and attempt to overcome physical obstacles in the real world while simultaneously navigating virtual obstacles within the augmented reality environment. Virtual barriers will appear suddenly on the course, testing the athletes’ reflexes.

Mechanical Combat League

Among all the sports suggested by AI, this one stands out as one of the most remarkable. In the Mechanical Combat League, athletes will pilot small, armored mechanical combat robots that they can physically enter, battling against each other. Naturally, these fights will adhere to specific rules, similar to current combat sports.

Which of these sports do you find most appealing? Which one do you think would be the most enjoyable?
