Mark Zuckerberg’s Apple Vision Pro Review: There Are Places Where It’s Better!
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, recently shared his thoughts on Apple’s mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, comparing it to his own company’s mixed reality headset, the Quest 3. Apple’s latest tech offering, the Vision Pro, has been the subject of much discussion.
This mixed reality headset has only been released in the U.S. market so far but has already caught the attention of people worldwide. Given the growing interest in mixed reality headsets, Meta’s Quest series is often one of the first to be mentioned, thanks to its longstanding presence in the market.
This recent development sees Zuckerberg providing insights on the Vision Pro after having the opportunity to experience it firsthand, thus setting the stage for a comparison between Apple’s Vision Pro and Meta’s Quest 3.
Mark Zuckerberg says Meta Quest 3 is better: He gave his own reasons
Mark Zuckerberg recently took to his official Instagram account to share a video where he discussed the differences between Apple’s Vision Pro and Meta’s Quest 3, advocating for the superiority of his company’s product. In the video, Zuckerberg stated, “I believe the Quest doesn’t just offer a better price point; it’s also a superior product overall.” He went on to detail the reasons behind his belief.
According to Zuckerberg, the Quest 3 outperforms the Apple Vision Pro in several key aspects. He highlighted that the Quest 3 is 120 grams lighter than the Vision Pro, which he believes enhances the user’s comfort and overall experience.
Additionally, Zuckerberg pointed out the advantages of the Quest 3’s design, such as the absence of a wired battery pack and its broader viewing angle, further emphasizing the device’s appeal over its competitor.
Mark Zuckerberg loved some of the features of the Vision Pro!
Mark Zuckerberg has expressed a preference for the inclusion of hand controllers in mixed reality headsets, yet he also showed admiration for Apple’s implementation of an eye-tracking system as an innovative approach to interaction within the Vision Pro. He acknowledged the effectiveness of this feature and mentioned that similar technology would be incorporated into Quest headsets in the future.
Furthermore, Zuckerberg pointed out that the Quest lineup boasts a more extensive content library than the Vision Pro, highlighting the strength of Meta’s platform in offering a diverse range of experiences to users. However, he conceded that the Vision Pro surpasses the Quest in terms of entertainment capabilities, indicating Apple’s success in optimizing their device for immersive multimedia experiences.
While Mark Zuckerberg’s comparison might carry a bias due to his position at Meta, his observations offer valuable insights into the competitive landscape of mixed reality headsets. His remarks suggest that the Apple Vision Pro has made a significant impact on him, highlighting the competitive nature of the industry and the continuous innovations being made.
