LG Introduces AI-Powered Refrigerator and Smart Oven

LG has introduced the AI-powered home products it will showcase at CES 2026. The new members of the LG SIGNATURE series, which combines strong artificial intelligence features with superior design, are the smart refrigerator and the oven with stove.

LG Electronics introduced new AI-powered home products exclusively for the tenth anniversary of the LG SIGNATURE brand. The updated product range runs on LG’s AI Core-Tech platform, which learns how users interact with home appliances and automatically adjusts settings. The system uses generative AI to facilitate the use of appliances without the need for manual adjustment.

What Does the LG SIGNATURE AI Refrigerator Offer? The main product is the new LG SIGNATURE Refrigerator, which features artificial intelligence based on large language model technology. It allows for natural conversation via a 6.8-inch LCD screen. The AI Fresh function tracks temperature changes depending on how often the door is opened and pre-cools the interior up to two hours before the likely time of use.

The Smart InstaView model adds ThinQ Food features. An internal camera detects what is stored in the refrigerator, suggests recipes based on available ingredients, and recommends alternatives. When these features are not in use, the T-OLED InstaView panel displays visual content and blends into the kitchen.

What Does the LG SIGNATURE Smart Oven Offer? The LG SIGNATURE Range comes with the Gourmet AI feature. The internal camera recognizes over 85 dishes and automatically sets the correct cooking temperature and time. The AI Browning feature tracks the baking of bread and sends a notification via the ThinQ application when the selected browning level is reached. Cooking can be monitored in real-time, and a time-lapse video of the cooking process can be received and shared from the phone when finished.

The design maintains LG SIGNATURE‘s minimal style with simple horizontal lines, gold accents, and detailed craftsmanship. LG offers three design collections: Seamless, Iconic, and Special. These offer different materials and styles while maintaining high performance. LG‘s entire product collection will be exhibited at the CES 2026 fair to be held in Las Vegas between January 6-9.
