KPMG is entering the metaverse space with a new collaboration hub that will connect employees, customers and others via Web3. The company will invest a total of $30 million this year in Web3 experiences, along with its metaverse center, which it describes as a “signature initiative”.
According to Fortune’s report , the new center will focus on education, collaboration, practice, events and workshops. Cliff Justice, President of KPMG Business Innovation USA, announced that they plan to hire new people to build and expand the center currently used for these jobs.
The company’s long-term goal is to explore other potential uses of the metaverse, such as healthcare, consumer, retail, media and financial services.
