The Tesla CEO visited the automaker’s design studio in California over the weekend. Impressed by what he saw, Musk made a statement on X, saying, “Just left Tesla Design Studio. Will be the most epic show ever by year end.” However, some people are approaching this claim with skepticism, as Elon Musk has made ambitious statements many times before.

Because Musk referred to the Tesla Design Studio, some believe that this time it’s about a different project. This is because the studio is primarily involved with vehicle design and advanced features.

It could be related to the Tesla Roadster

One possibility is that it could be related to the next-generation Tesla Roadster. Musk has made similar statements about this model in the past. Shortly after the Roadster’s unveiling in 2017, Musk claimed that cold gas thrusters would be added to this supercar, allowing it to achieve unprecedented racing performance and even enable the vehicle to briefly hover off the ground. The model, which was said to be released in 2020, has still not been launched.
