GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI), eagerly anticipated by gamers, has been officially postponed. The new release date for the game was announced by Rockstar Games.


When Will GTA 6 Be Released?

With the latest postponement, the game’s release date has been updated to November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games apologized to gamers for adding extra time to the long wait. It was stated that this postponement would provide the necessary time to complete GTA 6 to the expected level of quality. The same statement was used in the previous postponement announcement for the game.

GTA 6 was initially announced to be released in the fall of 2025, but was later postponed to May 26, 2026. Now, the waiting period has been extended by another 6 months. Rockstar Games shared the second trailer for GTA 6 one day after the postponement announcement in May. A new trailer for GTA 6 may be shared in the coming days.

We are sorry to add extra time to this long wait, but these few months will provide the necessary time for us to complete the game to the quality you deserve and expect from us.
