Google Play Has Started Summarizing User Reviews with AI

Google has launched a new artificial intelligence feature on the Google Play Store for Android users. With this feature, summaries of user reviews are displayed in a single paragraph.
Google has begun to gradually roll out a new artificial intelligence feature for the Google Play Store, its app store in the Android ecosystem. This innovation appears in the “What users are saying” section, located under “User ratings and reviews.”
The new system becomes active for apps that have received a specific number of evaluations, but Google has not yet shared this threshold.
Artificial Intelligence Summarizes User Reviews in a Single Paragraph

This AI-generated summary presents the most frequently mentioned positive and negative aspects of the app in one paragraph. Below the summary, there are link buttons that direct to actual user reviews on related topics.
Google officials stated that this feature has been in testing for over a year and is now being rolled out to a wider user base. A similar feature was also introduced to iOS users in the App Store by rival company Apple last April.
