The latest update to Gemini introduces a feature that allows users to precisely adjust the chatbot’s responses to match their queries. Now, instead of requesting Gemini to regenerate the entire text, users can swiftly edit the specific section they wish to change. To utilize this feature, simply access Gemini through your preferred web browser.

Set up Gemini’s responses

After crafting your response, select the segment you wish to modify and click on the small bubble featuring a pencil icon. You will be presented with four options: Rebuild, Shorter, Longer, and Remove. The “Regenerate” option allows you to tailor the responses according to your preferences.

The introduction of the Anthropic Claude 3 artificial intelligence model marks a significant advancement in the AI field. This model claims to surpass the capabilities of GPT-4 and Gemini, offering enhanced interaction quality and more sophisticated understanding and generation of text. By focusing on improving response accuracy, relevance, and adaptability, Claude 3 aims to provide a more intuitive and efficient user experience, setting a new standard for artificial intelligence capabilities.

Considerations

If you prefer, you can directly communicate your modifications to Gemini by typing them into the “Replace with Prompt” field. However, if your instructions don’t clearly guide the chatbot on how to alter the response or request changes in text formatting that are unsupported, you might receive a “Gemini can’t do this” message.

Moreover, if your queries are vague or breach Google’s Prohibited Use Policy, the AI might face difficulties. Shortly before the latest update, Google had to suspend Gemini’s image generation feature due to historical instances of producing inaccurate or offensive visuals. Gemini is anticipated to make a comeback in the upcoming weeks, with modifications aimed at addressing these issues.
