Meta, formerly known as Facebook, unveiled its latest generation VR/AR glasses, the Meta Quest Pro, at its Meta Connect 2022 event.
As the company shifts its focus towards metaverse technologies, it continues to develop virtual reality and augmented reality headsets.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg personally introduced the Quest Pro, which weighs 722 grams. These glasses come equipped with wireless control devices and sensors for analyzing the surrounding environment.
Meta has incorporated the Snapdragon XR2 Plus processor into this new generation of AR/VR glasses, providing them with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The glasses feature two 1800×1920 pixel LCD screens with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. They offer a maximum of 2 hours of wireless usage, while it’s reported that they perform 50 percent better than the previous Quest 2 when used in a wired mode.
