Elon Musk’s Provocative Statement: “AI Will Take Everyone’s Jobs, Including Mine”
Elon Musk has once again made a controversial statement about artificial intelligence, similar to his previous remarks. According to Musk, AI will take away all kinds of jobs from everyone in every sector.
As in his previous statements, Elon Musk issued another strong warning about artificial intelligence: “No job is safe, including mine.”
The owner of Tesla and X, Elon Musk, made this new statement in response to a post describing how ChatGPT helped a cancer survivor. The original post suggested that AI could make more accurate decisions than doctors, which would lead to major debates in the medical world. Musk didn’t see any need for a debate: “AI is already better than most doctors. And it will get much better. Every profession is at risk.” So what will today’s workers do in the future?
Musk, who has made similar claims before, is one of the rare tech moguls who accepts that even his own job could be automated. Of course, the backlash on social media was immediate.
Some commented, “I can’t imagine an AI that could replace Elon,” while others asked, “So what will we do? Sit and get paid for doing nothing?” Musk did not respond to any of these questions. Some investors say people should prepare for this situation without panicking. Figures like Mark Cuban suggest that people should acquire skills to work with AI and develop social skills that machines cannot easily replicate.
