Last year, Decentraland’s Metaverse Music Festival (MVMF) united some of the biggest stars in Web3, providing audiences with an unforgettable experience. The performances of Web3 talents such as 3Lau, Alison Wonderland, Deadmau5, and Paris Hilton, who took to the Meta stage, were highly acclaimed.

The festival offered more than just musical performances; it featured airdrops, POAPs, giveaways, virtual fashion, and much more, marking it as one of the most comprehensive experiences in the Metaverse.

This year, Decentraland is setting its sights even higher. While the official lineup is yet to be announced, the event is already being touted as a weekend to remember. According to their description, it will be the prime spot for everything related to Web3 and music.

With all the upgrades and innovations made over the past year, Decentraland is gearing up for what could be the greatest experience it has ever hosted.

Decentraland Has Been Dealing With Active User Problems Lately!

DappRadar’s tracking statistics recently revealed that Decentraland had only 42 active users in the past 24 hours, a figure that Decentraland quickly dismissed as inaccurate. They emphasized that they provide their own statistics and data, which support a significantly larger user base for a more accurate portrayal.

The data from DappRadar has caused widespread surprise and raised concerns among companies considering investments in the Decentraland Metaverse. The Metaverse company, which combines NFTs, virtual terrain, and Metaverse technology, is valued at over $1 billion.

However, if these statistics are accurate, such valuations could be at risk. The active user count is particularly crucial since it’s known that users spend in-game using Decentraland’s cryptocurrency, MANA. The low user count suggests that very few transactions are happening, posing a significant risk to the project’s future.

In response to these claims of low user numbers, Decentraland addressed the issue in a tweet. The statement read: “There has been a lot of misinformation circulating about the number of active users on Decentraland lately.

Some websites are making claims based only on tracking certain smart contract transactions. However, this method produces incorrect data.”
