Bing Integrates GPT-4o into Free Image Creation Service

Microsoft has integrated OpenAI’s advanced visual model GPT-4o into Bing Image Creator. Users can now generate more detailed images for free across various platforms.

Microsoft has announced the integration of OpenAI’s newest model, GPT-4o, into its Bing Image Creator platform. This enhancement allows users to create high-quality visuals for free using the advanced capabilities of the model.

GPT-4o stands out as OpenAI’s multimodal model, which combines text and image generation. It is better at following user prompts and can effectively transform written content into visuals. Additionally, the model can use images uploaded by users as a reference to create new content or make edits. However, GPT-4o’s image generation has a low daily limit for free ChatGPT users.

Free and Unlimited Image Generation with GPT-4o

Due to the higher level of detail, the time it takes to generate images with GPT-4o can be longer than with DALL-E 3. Considering user feedback, Microsoft is keeping the older DALL-E 3 model available, allowing users to choose which model to use when creating visuals.

The platform offers 15 free fast-generation credits. Once this limit is exceeded, each fast generation costs 10 Microsoft Rewards points. However, unlimited image generation at standard speed remains free.

According to Microsoft, the GPT-4o image generation model integrated into Bing Image Creator is accessible across multiple platforms. Users can access this service by visiting bing.com/create, or through the Bing mobile apps, Copilot Search, the Bing search bar, or the Microsoft Edge address bar.
