Huawei was the brand with the highest shipments during this period. The company reached a total of 28.6 million units in shipments, with the contribution of the Watch GT 6 and Watch GT 6 Pro models in particular. However, the fact that approximately 20.8 million of this figure came from the China market indicates that Huawei is still highly dependent on the domestic market.

Xiaomi, ranking second on the list, surpassed its competitors in growth rate. Xiaomi rose to the position of the fastest-growing manufacturer with 27.9 million units shipped in the first nine months. Affordable models such as the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 and Redmi Watch series allowed the brand to gain strong momentum in both China and the Southeast Asia and South America markets.

Apple ranked third in the global ranking, while it fell to fourth place in the China market. The company’s focus solely on the mid and upper segments caused a more limited growth in total shipments. This year, it appears that the Apple front focused more on advanced connectivity features such as 5G and satellite connectivity rather than hardware variety.

Samsung, on the other hand, began to recover in the third quarter with the impact of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic models following the decline in the first half of the year.
