In the city of Brighton in the south of England, an entrepreneur who brought a breath of fresh air to politics took the step towards becoming the UK’s first “AI MP”.

Steve Endacott will be a candidate in the general election on July 4 with an AI-generated avatar.

Endacott announced his candidacy in a post on LinkedIn, saying: “I am forming my own party after being frustrated with how uncommunicative the other parties are with the people of the UK.”

Endacott notes that the AI avatar will provide a platform that will make voters’ views and policies accessible at all times.

The AI will answer voters’ concerns and questions 24/7 using Endacott’s voice and avatar.

During the nomination process, Endacott will run as an independent candidate for technical reasons, although he is associated with the party Smarter UK.
