Electric Porsche Macan GTS Introduced: Here are the Design and Features

Porsche has added a new GTS version to its all-electric SUV family. With 571 hp of power, a 586 km range, and 0-100 km/h performance in 3.8 seconds, the Macan GTS has become the brand’s most sporty electric SUV.

Porsche continues to expand its all-electric SUV lineup. The brand’s new model, the Macan Electric GTS, stands out as the most driver-focused version in the series. Using the legendary “GTS” badge on an electric Macan for the first time, Porsche is setting new standards in its segment for performance, agility, and character with this model.

571 Horsepower Electric Performance

The Macan GTS offers a total of 380 kW (516 hp) of power with its front and rear motors combined. When Launch Control is engaged, this value reaches 420 kW (571 hp). Thanks to a maximum torque of 955 Nm, the SUV completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The 100 kWh capacity battery provides a WLTP range of up to 586 km and can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.

Advanced Driving Dynamics

The new GTS comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package and the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus system. The model’s rear-biased 48:52 weight distribution, electronically controlled differential lock, and GTS-specific suspension system clearly convey Porsche’s sporty driving DNA. The suspension is lowered by 10 mm, and an optional rear-axle steering system is also offered. Porsche’s newly developed Track Mode optimizes battery temperature to maintain power during sustained high-performance driving.

The GTS identity is immediately noticeable in the exterior design. Black accents, darkened Matrix LED headlights, revised bumpers, and larger side skirts give the model a powerful stance. Coming standard with 21-inch Anthracite Grey wheels, the Macan GTS can also be opted for with 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels. Furthermore, model-exclusive colors like Carmine Red, Crayon, and the newly introduced Lugano Blue emphasize the GTS’s character.

Sporty and Customizable Interior

In the cabin, a combination of Race-Tex microfiber and black leather is used. 18-way adjustable sport seats, a GT sport steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster with the GTS logo reflect the model’s sporty spirit. The new GTS Interior Package offers customization options with red, grey, or blue stitching to match the exterior colors, colored seat belts, and carbon fiber trim.

Smarter, Better Equipped

The Macan GTS also brings with it Porsche’s latest digital technologies. Porsche Digital Key, an AI-supported voice command system, advanced parking assistant, and in-car gaming features are now standard. It also maintains its practicality in the electric SUV segment with a towing capacity of 2,500 kg.
