HTC’s New AI-Powered Smart Glasses: The Vive Eagle

HTC has officially announced its new AI-powered smart glasses, the Vive Eagle, positioning them as a direct competitor to the Meta and Ray-Ban smart glasses.
Weighing just 49 grams, these glasses feature a subtle design that includes built-in speakers and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

What really sets the Vive Eagle apart is its AI functionality. The glasses can perform instant visual translations for 13 different languages. This feature is integrated with a voice assistant named Vive AI, which can also handle everyday tasks like taking notes, setting reminders, and finding nearby restaurants.
Currently, the Vive Eagle is only available in Taiwan and comes with frame options in red, brown, gray, or black. The lenses are developed by Zeiss. The company has not yet announced a release date for the European or US markets. The glasses are priced at $520.
