Man Buys Virtual Land in ‘Snoopverse’ for $450k
An individual, eager to become a neighbor to Snoop Dogg’s NFT mansion in the Metaverse, has spent a staggering $450,000 (approximately £6.2 million) to secure a plot of virtual land.
Snoop Dogg has collaborated with The Sandbox to create an interactive domain known as the ‘Snoopverse‘.
This virtual universe allows its inhabitants, known as Snoopites or Snoopers, to create their own avatars, dress them as they wish, build personal homes, and drive luxury vehicles.
The Ethereum-based platform offers users the opportunity to shape their virtual experiences and engage in various gaming activities.
The person who made this significant investment, now virtually located next to Snoop Dogg, will enjoy access to exclusive events at a digital replica of the rapper’s Californian mansion.
